BROWN SERIES
In ‘Pataphysical practice, determining when to stop drawing is never clear, creating a state of constant tension and flux. In response to this uncertainty, Brown explores the concepts of geometric restriction and restraint. Unlike many previous studies, the drawing is comprised of a small number of projections that suggest a fragment of something larger. These volumetric projections are positioned at various angles of perception, striving to avoid the constraints of gravity and foundation. Unlike studies such as Quirinale Palace, Brown is not intended to explore the process of material binding and accepts conditions of tectonic stasis. This approach allows the drawing to diverge from The Dialectical Computer studies and serve as a catalyst for a new series of explorations.
