Projection

Projection continues to avoid beginning with a frame, predefined edge or boundary. Instead, the drawing is emerges from a single point (bottom left corner), extending across the surface of the page without a fixed system to guide the progression of lines.

Forms emerge through the act of drawn navigation, generating overlapping structures that resist alignment with the space that contains them. Structure is not imposed, but is discovered within the lines as they form, generating a shifting field of spatial possibility. Consequently, the drawing operates as both process and outcome.

While the language remains open and unresolved, Projection marks a clear development in which the drawings begin to move toward a more expansive spatial condition.
